I know it's rude to ask how much people get paid, but it's for a school project...i need to know how much a producer on a radio show such as key 103 (a local station) or radio 1 would get paid...It's what I hope to be, so yeah...any help would be much appreciated

I was a radio presenter for 13 years but wages do differ from station to station. I was a presenter on a Manchester based radio station where I presented the breakfast show, I was on 17000, now my producer was only freelance so he got a shift rate which was 60 a day, this was for 6 hours work.

Down the road at Key 103 the money will be alot higher as it's run by a big company (Emap) this could be from 17000 right up to 25000. Now Radio 1, we're talking around 35000 to even 50000.

Hope this helps.
