A2 Language Investigation

Hi,
I'm currently studying at A2 Level on an English Lanaguage course, and I have to do a language investigation as part of my course this year worth 15%. The option I wanted to do can't be done because it will take too long to get the data. I really want to do something on language and technology, but I haven't got any ideas.
Would it be possible for someone to give some guidance/ideas?

I'm a bit confused as what is required for your coursework.it might help if you share your original idea so we can see what you mean.I did A Level English language so i might be able to help

Erm, my original idea was language aquisition. I was planning on collecting pieces of writing done by children in years one and four. The snag was how uncooperative primary schools are in my area, and how long it was taking them to agree or disagree.
I was thinking of language and technology because not many poeple have chosen that in my class.
