i have been seperated from my husband for 1 1/2 years. the children now aged 15, 18 and 19 still live with me. my ex is medically retired and does not contribute to the children and since he left the family home he has not contributed to the mortgage, endowments or insurance policies (i have been making sure thes are paid) he now wants his equity out of the home and i am unsure if i can afford to buy his share. have you any ideas of what i might do?
