is it possible to train as a midwife if i have a criminal record

According to this information booklet you have to have a satisfactory police check.

But there are contact numbers - so ring them. It is the only way you will know if your record is an automatic bar or not.

Even if you got to train you could never practice
it would depend on the type of criminal record. Not sure about the training, but working as a midwife would mean that you have to do an advanced disclosure in the crb checks 9as you would be working with children and vulnerable people)
