Economics is a very theoretical subject. You learn the theory, apply it and analyse what should happen and give your own evaluation. It does have a S paper.

Business Studies consists of one sixth economics, finance, marketing, objectives and strategy, people and operations management.. Similar skills of application, analysis and evaluation. There is no S paper.

Business Studies is easier, do it!!!!!
As a Business Studies teacher I think that Business Studies is easier that Economics but you need to make sure that which ever one you choose fits in with your plans for the future.
Economics tell u how a business is run, but business studies tell u how to run a business. Basically, Business studies basically with management i.e basics of business.how to go about the process of recruitment, planning, organizing, staffing… and controlling.Social responsibilities of a business and seeing from the profit point of view.
Whereas, economics deals with profit maximization. How much quantity of the commodity should be supplied so that there is neither shortage nor surplus in the market.what should be the price. It studies the mind of the consumers and the dynamic environment in which the business is run.
