Can anyone help me please. I have a degree in transport management and spent 25 years in the transport industry. I am now disabled but would like to take a course (home learning) in forensic accident investigation, can I get any funding for the course fees and any books I may need, Cheers astondog

Hi. Have you looked into a course with the Open University? I don't know if they do any courses on the subject you are interested in but I know you can apply for help with course fees and all course materials are usually included in the price. Might be worth a look, www.open.ac.uk.

I'm not sure you would get much help for a home study course - all the help I could find was for part time (at least 50%) students.

Do you have a particular course provider in mind? If so, ask them. By coincidence, I'm doing a Forensic Medicine and Science course (distance learning) at the moment!
