Selling homemade earrings

I've started making my own earrings as a hobby but have no idea how to go about selling them. I have shown various people and so far they have been quite positive about what ive made so I'd like to take it further and start making a profit from them. Has anyone got any advice on who to contact/where to sell/generally how to get started?! Any advice gratefully received, thanx!! xx

My sister was in the same position as you a few years ago. She started having stalls at local craft fairs and then appraoching local boutiques to arrange them to buy on a sale or return basis. Word of mouth is also a very powerful tool!

Forgot to say about the internet but if you don't have the web page know how it can be difficult. You could always try and sell some on some auction sites.
