You'll need to work hard to make sure you impress them in your new job to make sure they don't fail your probation or reduce your hours, and also try harder to be flexible and avoid issues with your supervisor- and be lucky to find you enjoy working with your colleagues and managers. With all that you might just make more of a success of it than in your last few roles

No I'm sure they not but I don't know with my supervisor if it would really be awkward or its personal

yes, making a complaint thru HR is really going to help improve what they think of you ...

Question Author

It's what i've been advised to do not what I decided

//blood,sweat and tears// doesn't really sound like you Abbey!
The jobs you do are really not too stressful but you make them sound as though they are!

Abbey, the people advising you might not have the full picture. They may have your 'I worked every last bit of blood, sweat and tears' comment, but do they have 'We had to cut her hours right, right back as she simply wasn't coping'? Do they also have  a note of 'I took a new job with conflicting shifts, but surely the old employer should fall into line with my wishes? I won't be there long, but while I am, I'd like the rotas changed to suit me'.

Question Author

Look what would you do take 3 full days or do 2 full days with 3 4 hour shifts

Abbey, what I - or any ABer - would do isn't relevant.  You've been having some trying times, work-wise, but it isn't all down to your employers...

its not really a fair comparison because i have earn as much as i can  to pay to eat and have somewhere to live.  You dont appear to have that problem.

Exactly and since mu hours been reduced in care home I don't feel welcome anymore by my supervisor

Question Author

Bed I understand eventually when I move out I'll have less money

"I used every bit of blood sweat and tears in both jobs."

If it's outwith your capabilities to work and carry out all your tasks satisfactorily in the hours you were hired for, do you expect the employer to pay you for those hours and for someone else to perform or finish the tasks you were not able to complete within those hours?

Abbey, your hours were reduced weeks and weeks ago. Since then you've had the job you hated at HB, thought of going to work in a warehouse, got yourself another part-time job lined up... without thinking that last one through (ie taking shifts that wouldn't work with your existing job).  Even if (and it's only an 'if') the supervisor doesn't make you feel welcome, you're there to work - and it is only for 9 hours a week. Have you always had a great rapport with all your other bosses?

Question Author

I do understand it not worth keeping someone if they can't do the job but it was a bad week for me that and they have since given me a cleaning shift as they short

Yes places like mcdonalds and new one seems great. I got on really with my stock manager in the warehouse I got told when I started supervisor thought the world of me but don't seem like it since she thought I said she hadn't shown me certain tasks.

There you are then. New housekeeping job Monday- Wednesday; ask McDonalds if you can work there on the other days and/ror Saturdays. They'll bite your hands off

Abbey, you're writing confusing stuff again. By the 'and the new one seems great' do you mean the job you haven't actually started, the one where you've done just one day?  And maybe the stock manager (in the warehouse) did think the world of you to start with... but something must have changed as you were let go, and your 'lack of energy' was mentioned. Maybe you get off to a great start, then fizzle out a bit as time goes on!

274 answers to a wind up. Really impressive

You seriously think so, Captain. Why would anyone waste so much of their day doing that?

Sorry Captain- I meant emeritus!

We have had them before over the years. Some very similar to this.
