Quite a lot of plaudits (and some rather unnecessary Bah Humbuggery from the prudes) for the Poundland Elf campaign ...

‘We’re proud of a campaign that’s only cost £25.53 and is being touted as the winning marketing campaign this Christmas!’

LOL, great advertising. Wouldn't have thought that Elf would have invited Ken to the strip poker game though.
If it wasn't an advert most people would probably laugh.
'Elf on a Shelf' (the non bawdy version) has already been unceremoniously banished from this family this Christmas.

Damn things are everywhere.
Er, what campaign?
I love the fact that the campaign only cost twenty five quid and it shows. That's so funny
Christmas for a pound, Daisy ;-)
Absolutely no idea what it is about
Therefore it is a miserable failure
And Elf thinks he has problems, at least he can wear his Elf uniform.

Have no idea what you are on about
The Elf started here and over the years has grown into some type of tradition.

I saw this on fb earlier. I'm still laughing. But that's because I'm just puerile. It's not just the innuendo. It's just such a p take and a v smart bit of marketing.
But it's not really for children, strictly adult humour. Imagine having to explain to a child what 'teabagging' is.
The Campaign in the OP isn't but the premise of Elf... has always been for children.

Forget the Elves for a bit, what a cool dude this guy is.

1) "teabagging" is not actually enunciated
2) most kids would just think "that's stupid why would he hang a teabag there" and then quickly move onto the next iphone game
3) other kids would just Google it
4) teabagging!!! Omfg. Googled it. *Mouth open in amazement*
What a great guy, go Rasta Claus.
