Out of interest and potentional for advancing my general academic skills, I wish to study a couple of A-Level subjects but through private study, I remember back in sixth form I talked to a few mature students who did this. They studied at home after their normal working hours and used our sixth form college for invigilation of their examinations.

So any advice on how I pursue an A-Level through not private study?

Sorry , mind drifted away on that last sentence! Please ignore the word "NOT" on that last sentence! ; )

The National Extension College does A-levels. It's distance learning and then you take the exam in a local centre. I know people who have done their courses and they say they are good, but you need a lot of self-discipline for distance learning.

Thank's but this seems very commercial, surely there must be a cheaper access to this.
