I see that Dobie Gray has died aged 71,now someone somewhere will look at the name and will not have heard this mans music and by the wonder of modern technology will be able to download a few tracks and then just maybe like what they hear ,there you have a new artist for your collection. now this has made me think of my favourite artist of all time Gerry Rafferty who died a while ago ,It is quite incredible that I have read more about Gerry and heard his name mentioned more since his death than at anytime in his life.I have in fact been a fan since 1960s
For those who are not aware of his music and enjoy well crafted, superbly produced albums with melodies and ,vocals that will give you ears the time of their lives,Please, please, please, give Gerry Rafferty's music a TRY .
