Customers outside the Apple Store in New York have been reacting to the news that Steve Jobs will be leaving his role as CEO. Some say Apple will still be great without him whereas others say they are "nervous" about the future of the firm because Jobs has been such an integral part of the company. What do you think? Personally I think they have had long enough to prepare for this moment but Steve is such an integral part of Apple he's sure gonna be missed even though he is staying on as chairman for the moment. I wish him well and hope he wins his battle with cancer. Brilliant guy.

He's a genius but his health is deteriorating. It wont affect his financial stake in Apple. Very sad for him but his work lives thru every iphone & ipad.
Apple has been run by Tim Cook since January when Jobs went on sick leave. He ran Apple the two other times when Jobs was having cancer treatment and for his liver transplant. The succession has been well planned. Apple have a 10 year plan and products lined up for development. They also have a huge stash of money to make it happen (more than the combined worth of the top 30 banks in Europe.
So nothing will change for a good many years. Hopefully however long Jobdls has to live, he can enjoy in semi retirement (he is to be chairman).
