I am 15 and I am going to be a teacher in a high school when I am older and I have 3 amalgam fillings and I am just wondering should I get them changed to white ones because I have braces at the moment and I will have perfect teeth for smiling at people it will be very good for presenting and would it be good to also have white fillings so that when I laugh and talk you won't see metal ? Thanks

Are you seriously asking this? I was a teacher for many years and didn't find amalgam fillings a drawback!!!!
It will quite a few years - maybe six years- before you will be doing any teaching practice so I suggest for now you focus on your A levels and then your degree. If you still feel at that stage that teaching is for you, you can start to consider issues such as this (if you still think this is important) when you get to the stage of doing your PGCE ( or the Irish equivalent)
Just focus on training to be a teacher, believe me the kids and the people you work with aren't going to be bothered what colour your fillings are!
A common piece of advice to new teachers is 'Don't smile before Christmas', so that will give you even more time to make a decision on this.
I wouldn't think the students would care what your fillings look like. They won't even notice anyway, unless your front teeth are gold!
You may change your mind about being a teacher in the future anyway, most of us are not sure what we want to do when we grow up, even in our 60s.
I would concentrate on getting good grades and working towards positive goals.
As a teacher in some schools you'll be lucky to keep your teeth.........
