**sorry in advance for length of post** My partner has brittle asthma & allergies which were all documented in detail to the agency & placement nearly 12 months ago - despite this they immediately placed her next to the toner bin even though it was listed as one of her major triggers in the workplace. Her workstation for the last few months is in an air-conditioned office where all the filter service lights are flashing 'overdue', her boss has said it's up to management to sort it out, she has had 3 bouts of sickness in last 6 mths incl 1 hospital by ambulance due to a chest infection and we believe the germs in her workplace being re-circulated through dirty filters is contributing to this. They have told her they would get rid of her due to her condition and sickness if she wasn't so good at her job. The branch she works for seems to rule by bullying and we don't know where to go for advice about what she can do - I thought asthma was covered by Disability Discrimination Act and they can't neglect her health in the workplace and then threaten her with the sack when they knew all about her condition prior to her employment?
