As quiz show hosts always say, there are no 'easy' or 'hard' questions - just ones you know, and ones you don't. incitatus, have you previously been kidnapped and tortured by Americans? Perhaps a gang gathered together and force fed you Mc Donalds and mae you watch countless episodes of Baywatch? Have you thought of picking on the Germans for once? What about the Aussies?
andy hughes, my point is that this is one of the most commonly asked questions and I wondered if there was some reason it keeps coming up, especially when it's posted several times on the same page.
Fair comment Larabell - although experience shows that even though a question is on the site several times, people don't check the answers before asking it again. As to why some questions recur again and again, I don't have the answer to that one - and it is a common phenomena, as regular AB visitors will testify, mystery to me, anyone any ideas?
Kidnapped, no. Tortured, yes....the dukes of hazzard, baywatch, starsky and hutch....need I say more.
Also the germans are largely self satirising and the australian cultural attrocities are thankfully on too early in the evening for me to catch.
I just have a problem with authority figures.
Personally I believe that the pounds in a stone thing is a code word between sinister groups of people plotting the downfall of the free world. You know, Microsoft, that kind of person.
