bit of a random question but can anyone provide me with a website stating the legal break entitlement for at work in relation to hours worked

ill elaborate further though
im working 7 hour shifts at work and i only get half a hour break however im positive that its supposed to be a hour. anyone?
Your break is within the law.

The only rule is that anyone who works more than 6 hours in a shift is entitled to a 20 minute (unpaid) break. It's not even 'twenty minutes every 6 hours', so someone who works a 12 hour shift is still only entitled to one 20 minute break:

thanks for clearing that up
i just find it strange how, well i work in a department store within a concession however and if i worked for the department store i should have a hour but since i dont it gets cut in half
oh well
But it's probably to your benefit anyway as breaks are usually unpaid. If you had an hour every day, you'd be earning less money.
