we have four kids on the net all the time ... how can we protect them ... what should we do ? They are on msm all the time .. how do you protect them but still let them have privacy ? should we read there messages ? help ....

Personally I'm of the opinion that they should be told not to go on the 'bad' sites, and trust them not to. If they want to, they'll find a way to do it. either at school or a friend's house or something. And if they find out that you have been reading their messages and not trusting them, then they'll go even further lengths to do what they want. As long as they know right from wrong, they'll be ok.

Though what do I know; I'm just a big kid myself :)

Arent they just talking to their mates on msn? Im always on it but I only chat to my friends.

There are programs (Google for child safety/internet safety etc) like Net Nanny but youngsters are very clever and can probably get round them,
