I used to work for a team of OTs - they were all shapes and sizes, including overweight. I wouldn't worry too much.
Agree with jag,OT came in to my guys house and she was bendover and using a walking stick!
Stella, no offence, I am 3 stone overweight myself. But 17stone and no health issues?
As Eddie says, they can't refuse you because you are big. Well done on having that ambition - the study will be hard work but it will be well worth it when you get your qualification at the end. I know some big nurses and some Big Doctors, I sometimes wonder how to keep a straight face if they are telling patients to lose weight.... we are all shapes and sizes, and Eddie's advice sound v. good to me!
One of our relief support workers is obese and having a baby, thinking about it she is lazy
