My employers have recently told me that i have to do an NVQ3 in children, learning and development as my BTEC national diploma in early years isn't good enough for where i work (children residential home for children in care) I have instead asked if i could do the NVQ4 in a relevent subject as i already have a level 3 (BTEC) and would like to further my qualification. They have told me that this is not possible although in my contract it states that they would support me where possible in further training. Where do i stand?
