i have just been told i am abount to be made redundant and would like to know my rights and what sort of redundancy package i can expect i.e is is one months salary for each year completed and if i go sick during my term of redundancy do they have the right to stop my redundancy payment

i was made redundant on the 30th dec. i recieved the statutory minimum which is �260 for every yr i was there but up to a maximum of 12 years (taxable) and then �260 a year for the 16 yrs i was there (non-taxable)


i wouldn't risk messing about and going off sick whilst i was waiting for my money, but you are allowed time off to attend interviews as needed.
