My cousin had her car insurance cancelled can she still retain her no claims bonus?

In that case she would be entitled to retain her NCB before that term of insurance.
IE, if she had earned 4 years NCB, then the 5th year of claim free insurance was cut short due to the policy being cancelled, then she is only entitled to the 4 years - that can;t be taken off her for non-payment of a policy, As the 5th year wouldn'd have run it's course, she wouldn't be entitled to it, even if it was cancelled in month 11 of a 12 month contract.
Worth noting that when you take out a new policy, you get asked if you have ever had a policy cancelled or refused - worth declaring this, but it shouldn't make a difference to the premium
