My mother has put a claim in for compensation for respiritory related deaths of coal miners. She has received his pension and coal allowance since his death and now after making this claim she has been told that she cannot claim compensation because she was not married to him. We have also found that his daughters also cannot claim because they were born before 1970. At present the claim has gone to missing persons to see if there are any other living relatives. Can the children of the illigitmate daughters make any claim
