well you know bednobs the police came round took statements arrested the lad .the young person said it was verbal but it obviously was more than that i had a baby sitter in here that evening sitting for my kids and she called the police as she heard the shouting in the young persons room,we have said the young mum cant bring her boyfriend here any more but i was interested in what the police knew but are you allowed to ask them or not
if she lied to you, what makes you think she didn't lie to the police? the police weren't there at the time the damage was caused, so they only know what they've been told - same as you
Question Author
i sont really understand you bednobs.
you ask if the police would tell you what happened in your home.
My response is that the police weren't there at the time it happened, so they wont *know*. All they will know is what the people who were there told them. Which is exactly the same position you are in - you only know what the people who were there have told you

well the baby sitter who was in our home said when the police arrived the young persons boyfriend had some thing in his hand that could have caused injury also the baby sitter heard the young mum saying to the police as she went back in to her room that he pushed her against the ??and the sitter heard no more than that.the young mum told us 6hrs later that he shouted and swore and scared the sitter which is why the sitter called the police.but my hubby and me would like to know the truth and as it happened in our home can we ask?also we need to tell the homeless organisation ,.
"well the baby sitter who was in our home "

so, the young person wasn't at home alone with her baby? She had a sitter?

Why can't the sitter tell you what happened? After all they were there
