I want to take my UK registered car to Greece at the end of the month just for two days. Does anybody know the cheapest way to insure it? Can I get short term UK insurance? At the moment it just has Albanian insurance which won't cover it outside of Albania. Thanks.

Wouldn't have thought so. Why not contact your existing insurers to ask about a 2day extension to Greece. You could try a Greek insurer.
I'm pretty sure that it's now illegal for Greek insurers to cover non-Greek registered vehicles (introduced as a response to all the Brits who brought cars from the UK and failed to re-register them).
When we've had to take our work vans abroad I've been able to call the insurers and get a short term foreign policy added on to ours. Just need to tell them where you'll be driving and the dates you'll be there.
Sorry, I misunderstood the bit about the Albanian insurance so my answer is completely useless.

With regards to insurance in England, I had a right game with the DVLA. I was wih Esure and they told me i couldn't keep my policy as I was 'exporting' the car. The DVLA said i wasn't exporting it so, after speaking to a load of clueless call centre ops. I was advised in the end by the DVLA to SORN the car. My Albanian company won't extend teh cover to Greece. It's all a bit of a polava really.
