I would be grateful if they could postpone their wedding until maybe September/October - spread the holidays out a bit.
Is that true? Where did you read that?
It's just been on telly..
Good Friday April 22
Easter Monday April 25
Wouldn't that be Mayday anyway?
It was just said on the radio. Shame I would have prefered it later on in the year.!
So will they be moving the Mayday Bank Holiday?
Thats a point I will have look on calender.
I wonder if there will be 'street parties' like the silver jubliee back in 1977? I still have my 'free' mug that all school kids got.
Doesn't sound like a holiday to me if they are passing off Mayday as it.
I think the idea is that there will be a Bank Holiday on the Friday as well as May 2nd - two long weekends in succession.
Crafty devils you dont think they have done that on purpose do you.?
That sounds good..........but far to close togehter.
Square - as I read it we'll get the Friday off for the wedding and the monday off as well for May Day.
Nice one! I'm no royalist but will appreciate the extra day off.
So only working week will be 3 days.
Can't see many businesses being happy about that decision.
No me neither. that will mean a 4 day week, 3day week, and another 4 day week.!
that would be May 2nd which is already a bank holiday!

so no extra day for anyone
Yes so they are saying we get the Friday 29th off instead red.
