Buying tickets for shows?

Are there any respectable websites to buy tickets for shows that have sold out, so that you don't get ripped off?

Surely if they're sold out you won't be able to buy tickets for them?

The only thing I can think of is Ebay, see if anyone is selling any on.

No, if they have sold out, any further tickets will be worthless/fake/counterfeit.

I think Ebay would be your best option. I have purchased many tickets from Ebay, and have never had a problem so far.

Paypal would cover you for that, just make sure you go to someone with a good rating. I have bought a few tickets on ebay, sometimes cheaper than originally cost but thats been a rarer occurance.

This year the Reading Festival organisers used viagogo. Manchester United FC also uses them - it is about as 'offical' a place as you are going to get - its basically for people who can no longer go. The Scarlet Mist website also allows people to sell at face value only for gigs etc.

the only place i have got some from is ebay. you can end up paying a lot more than face value sometimes but you can also get very good seats.
