urgent help!! one key not working on sony ericsson w595 mobile

ive had my sony ericsson w595 phone about 18 month its been great, i had a text come thro earlier, when i went to retrieve it, my phone seemed to have stuck, no keys would work i had to dis connect the battery re connect and turn back on and it worked, however my centre button (the one which is my select button) will not work, all other buttonsd are fine. the phone has not been dropped or damaged in any way....any ideas...please help asap

I can't help but just want to say I've had just thr same prob with my SKY tv, last night and tonight I could get no progs, no matter which channel I chose. Just kept flashing

When I phoned them they reckon it was atmospheric conditions and to turn set off and try in a couple of mins.
It did work but its soo frustating because I've missed progs I wanted to see and couldn't use the recording facility either. GGRRR!!! Bl**** SKY,I would never reccomend them. AND one has to pay for the priviledge of having it. When my contract is up I will give them the big E.
