nokia xpressmusic 5310 camera or video standby mode

I have a nokia xpressmusic 5310 and most of the time i use camera or video function both of these 2 go into standby mode and i cannot use them even though there is a continue option - someone suggested low battery - but my Nokia 6610 camera/video worked without going into standby
Other phone features are not affected
I have not updated firmware/software

innovage phone hand set has no sound

Fridge and freezer temperatures
