Not that Im opening other people's post but recently moved and the tesco statement was sent to the previous address. I wonder if the vouchers that tesco gives that you can use for restaurants, shopping etc can be used by anyone?

I think anyone could use the vouchers in Tesco, although that would be theft.

However you could not convert them into rewards tokens, as this has to be done by the holder. To do so would constitute identity theft aswell.
This happened to me too after I moved, I had £15 worth of vouchers due, when I phoned Tesco to ask why I hadn't recieved them they told me they were sent to my old address by mistake, and that they had been cashed in. I protested and was told on my next statement they would rectify this.
Which they duly did, an extra £ 15 worth of vouchers were added.
Soo fil. phone Tesco they will reimberse you.

Jem.
they never ask for ID when I use the vouchers
Other people can convert them to reward tokens as well, my neighbour needed an exact amount for some tickets, so I gave her some of mine to use - I don't think she had any problem using them.

Dont use your Tesco rewards for food - I use mine on day trips in London (eg Mme Tussauds, Tower of London - saved a fortune) and jewellery at Goldsmiths - you can convert to four times the price of the reward.
Look on EBay ...people sell them on there.
Great in theory smurfchops, but as panic button says,it has to be the card holder that converts, just using in store would be the only way to use them without having to provide id or know on line stuff. Not that I condone it anyway........
ayabrea - as I said earlier. it does not have to be the cardholder that converts, you just need to be a cardholder, but you can use anyones vouchers.
I think only the cardholder can use them to buy shopping, they always ask for my card at the till when they swipe the vouchers - I believe to make sure that they match. However they do not ask for any further ID when you exchange them for days out etc on line, but I couldn't say if they will only post the vouchers to the address shown as applying to the card.
They don't ask for any ID when you convert online but you have you have to be logged in to your account to do the conversion - so unless you know someone else's log in how can you possibly use their vouchers???
Right lets keep this simple:

My neighbour wants to order tickets for the zoo - she doesn't have the correct demoninations of tesco vouchers, I give her some of my vouchers, she goes on-line to her Tesco account and keys in the numbers from my vouchers, they send her the tickets for the zoo. I didn't need to get them delivered to me, I didn't give her my log in details, she didn't use my account number. Therefore, conclusion is that you can use anybody's vouchers to exchange on-line for tickets.
