Last I read there was about a 6 day backlog on airmail.
It depends. Some airmail was shipped to the States and isn't expected there until the end of this week, then it will have to be put through the US Mail system. Though some has actually got there quicker than normal. I work in a Post Office and explained to a lady a week last Friday that the item she was posting to Germany may take longer than normal to arrive due to there being no aeroplanes flying. She came back in to tell me it had arrived the following Monday - just two working days later!
Reminds me of the incident mentioned on Have I Got News For You. On being told there were no flights an American lady said "Does that apply to Business Class"
I saw that, craft ... only an American could ask that !!

I hope US flights are ok now. I've ordered some gym kit from the US.
From the US???

Do they make it small enough for you?
