Where the dickens do you find the Avatar box to tick, please??
There's nothing at the top of the Profile edit page but if I highlight the words "Your profile is inactive" I get a small dotted outline of a box which does absolutely nothing! The Submit box updates the profile but doesn't affect the Avatar which I have with Gravatar.com.
I've also read somewhere that you must ask a certain number of questions before you can have an Avatar. Is this correct? I've only asked one question in nearly 18 months but replied to well over 300.
Any suggestions out there Please?? Incidentally, Ctrl F5 doesn't work either.
Many thanks, Wak.

you have to clear your cache in internet options Wak, thats what i did anyway. Don't know about questions asked, but if you type in gravatar in the search panel there's loads of advice
Avatar box is in <edit user details>
As you know I had same prob -see the box- just put your mouse over it and click -nothing happen as in there isnt a visible tick and then scroll down and submit. This works believe it or not.Good luck !!
Is the email address associated with your avatar the same as the email address in your AnswerBank profile?
Yes but you don't need to have the same user name...

Thanks for all the answers folks.
Islowry. I've shut down the comp and restarted which clears the cache but I will try it again, thanks. I can't see any box at all in edit user details only the submit button at the bottom.
mibn2cweus. I only have one e-mail address so I don't think that is the problem.
I've also read and reread all the previous replies and answers but will keep trying to get the damn thing active.
Watch this space, Folks. & thanks again.

How's about that, Folks???
I did everything that I have done previously but held the submit button down permanently until the Avatar appeared.
Maybe the submit button has a delayed action in contacting Gravatar???
Anyway, we are there now so thanks again.

Yes, I was quite pleased with it. Taken on a 35mm Pentax SLR before I went digital.
