Hello all,
I have an idea for an interactive website that would bring, effectively a 'looker' and a 'seller' together within which would be a basic search engine. It would also need to be able to collet monies. My question is, would a website package enable me to do this or would I need the services of an expensive computer programmer as opposed to a website builder? I cannot see the wood for the trees.
Finally, if I could acheive the above, what would be the best way to protect the idea on paper? (ie the planning/outline)

Thanks in advance

You mean like eBay, Amazon et al...?
That is so cruel MarkRae
Tough love, Berti...

I'm currently working on a programme where the screen is divided up into individual cells in the form of a grid of rows and columns. You put numbers in the cells and then you can add them up. It's a world-beater!

Hello all.
Yes in a way, like ebay et al. but a quite different busniss model which would turn the afore mentioned on it`s head. Ergo my inquirey where and what would be needed to create a simpler software version? I hope this helps.
Thank you again for your comments
You're talking 'intellectual property' protection I believe which is horrendously expensive. And erm, I hate to say it but the idea you are presenting has been done better by other organisations, however much u think its got an original element to it. I can still remember someone telling me about this wonderful idea they had of putting everything in the written word on the net and charging people to use it. He didn't really like it when I said, kindof a good idea but its already been done (its called 'the web') and how much would it cost u to re-do what's already been done voluntarily for the most part.
