have just seen someones facebook status about 'how sad' come dine with me was tonight.... what happened?!?!

One contestant, Spencer, said if he won he would donate the winnings to a cancer charity. One of the others won, but donated half her winnings to the charity.
Spencer died some months after recording the show at the age of 36 (I think).
