I have a Ford Fiesta 3000 radio/cassette in my car but I cannot get it to work. I bought it second hand. It asks me to enter a code to which I do not know what it is. Can I reset it, and if so HOW? Many thanks.

ask the person it belonged to before.
look in the vehicle docuentstion or the manual for the stereo

on one second hand car I had someone had thoughtfully stuck the code on a slip of paper in the ashtray!
"ask the person it belonged to before"

though this may not be the same person as you bought it from!!!
Sorry, radio CASETTE!! is it worth it. Even if the car doesn't warrant expensive players, CD combos that even play mp3 CD's are cheap as chips now.
...and what if the OP has a collection of cassettes he or she wants to play? I still use my car tape deck for that, they sound better than mp3s too!

if it is too mcuh hassle most scrapyards will sell you a working stereo for very little money.
A Google reveals lots of firms offering to provide the code

eg.http://www.decodemyradio.co.uk/ - there are lots more

and even cheaper is Ebay

eg. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk...P?hash=item3efbb5a0eb
