Renault Megane saloon 1997 spark plugs.

Hi, Has anyone had the problem i have because ive never seen it before!
I bought some new spark plugs for my Renault Megane saloon 1997 and only 3 spark plugs fit! the other plug is a different size. . . not the new one but the old one so i can only put three in unless i go an buy one plug on its own to fit! so i currently have three nice new one's in and an old one! TUT

Does anyone know about this of any kind?

sounds like some one has ruined the threads and has had it recut with a bigger thread. unless you have had the car from new this sounds like the only cause,however, i stand to be corrected

Take the unused new one back to Halfords and ask to swap it for one of the other sized ones.

(You did keep the receipt didn't you?)
