Could anyone tell me how I get rid of unwanted texts from companys trying to get me to visit musical sites etc. I am afraid to text "stop" back as someone told me it costs money to do so. I just delete the texts as I get them, but I think that credit is being taken from my phone. I know this is an illegal practice but I dont know what I can do to stop it.
Any suggestions?

You need to text STOP and the relevant number. If you google the number you can find the sender and email them and tell them to stop. You probably signed up some time ago inadvertantly. The whole business stinks. Calls of £3 a time shouldnt be allowed.
