At last a judge that is awake, and prepared to speak the truth.

Just in case some will dub it a Daily Mail rant, guess what? It is also in the Telegraph.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/5928114 /Immigration-rules-are-a-drain-on-the-country- says-Judge-Ian-Trigger.html

Couldn't find anything about it in the Guardian though.

You have followers?

You are a Cult.
Hoorah.

I saw this story in the Mail this morning (it's available to read in our office restaurant).

I was getting worried that it wouldn't be featured as a thread on AB.

I can now relax.
I misread that last word there Gromit,I think I need to get my eyes tested very soon.lol

AOG

Incidentally, taking until nearly 3pm to raise this thread is very slack of you.

The AB community is very disappointed.

You misread it.

I mis-typed it!
I thought for a brief moment that you had finally 'lost your rag' with AOG Gromit ;-)

Relax sp? If you hadn't been napping behind the filing cabinet half the day, you would have noticed that I have spent most of the day putting right some of the posters on this site, that are to put it mildly a little slow on the uptake.

Anyway I think that is now sorted, because Gromit and daffy have now got rather childish, and started (in the corner) to put their arms around each other, and snigger over the misspelling (or typing as gromit prefers to call it, since he doesn't like to be accused of misspellings), of the word 'Cult'.

You are a comedian aren't you?

Is this

"High Court Judge admits right wing views Shock Revelation"

Because normally they're so well known as pinko liberals aren't they?

Is this the same Ian Trigger that so delighted the Mail with his pronouncement on 'Feral youths'

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-508877 /Top-judge-attacks-feral-yobs-courtroom-tirade -Cameron-calls-national-service.html

along with a "Send yobs to Siberia" link

Or "Liverpool Judge hits out at Government Liberal intellectuals"

http://www.thelegalweek.merseyblogs.co.uk/2008 /01/liverpool_judge_hits_out_at_go.html

You see the trouble is that he like you just hates what he sees as liberals and just mouths off at any opportunity

And he like you will therefore never be taken seriously by anyone other than those who already have the same prejudices - like the Mail and the Telegraph

A classic case of preaching to the converted

A classic case of preaching to the converted

Tell us then Jake who are you preaching to?

Other like minded pinko liberals, perhaps?

Because it is certain it is only them, who will take any notice of you.
Lighten up AOG :)
I honestly misread the word! I haven't slept at all since Monday night so my eyesight is not at it's best right now. When I realised what was actually typed I laughed at myself and then felt I had to comment on here. There was no malice intended on my part....even if you do wind me up with your extremist views sometimes. They are your views and I respect your right to air them, just don't expect everyone else to agree with them too eh?
As mentioned in the paper. Ian Trigger for prime minister!!
Much as I would love to add my leftie-liberal-Guardian-reading-lettuce-munching-pinko spin on this, I'm afraid I can't. I've been lent the movie 'Watchmen', and am watching it for the second time, and this time I'm going try to understand what the hell it's all about.

Enjoy.

Sorry you haven't been sleeping, hope it is nothing serious.

Regarding to the fact that you honestly misread that word, I really think you knew what you meant. I don't mind in the least people not agreeing with me, because at times I don't agree with them. But that is what this site is about, personal views genuinely debated. What I dislike is when people get rude and personal, there is no need for it.

even if you do wind me up with your extremist views sometimes.

Extremist views???? Please can you give me examples? One must realise that to some who don't agree with others point of view, it may seem that their views are extreme.

But please realise this can only be an individual's opinion, which is not always correct.
To our resident Extremist,

If someone says they genuinely misread something, you either accept that or else you are calling them a liar.
