creda 1200 washing machine

When i set programme the machine does the wash however the dial does not move round so i dont know how long the wash has to go

Do not let anybody sell you a new timer for this!!

you do need a new dial on the front, but not the whole timer unit.

if it's what I think, then they are a two piece dial and the link between them breaks, it's a simple job to replace the dial.

Can you turn the center part of the dial and hold the outer part still at all?

thanks for your reply however the dial is just one piece any further advice appreciated
What is the actual model number of the machine (if you can find it! it might be anywhere on the machine!)

I'm still betting it is the dial, in my time as a washing machine engineer I replaced lots of dials, not a single timer block.
