I have an old Sky box which I use as freeview but it now says "No satellite signal being received". I've tried the instructions from Sky & gone into the LNB menu but no joy. Any ideas for what else I can try gratefully accepted. TIA

Check the lead is properly connected at both box and dish.
If not that, has anyone bashed the dish out of line, EG carrying a ladder past it?
When you go into your LNB menu does it say anything about signal, if not then it's either the dish has moved, the cable between the dish and the old box is faulty, the LNB is faulty or the old sky box has gave up the ghost. Whatever you do don't ring Sky as they will charge you 70 just to look, try your local aerial fitter they are a lot cheaper....
You can get used Sky boxes on e bay for 20, if it is the box that is at fault

Thanks, folks. I know the dish is fine as the other Sky works fine & I've checked the cables so I think it may have died of old age.
