Right I'll try again, since I managed to c**k up the link on the last one.

I have x-posted this from the Internet section and the Technology section, but thought I would try here as well.

Any help would be appreciated.

So why not reply to the question below and add the link instead of adding yet ANOTHER question.

Maybe you can add your question to the News section and Weather section as well just to make sure your covered !!!

So so sorry for annoying you VHG, but do you not have anything more important to worry about or are you always this pernickety?

Oh to be a perfect shining example to the world of AB, I must try harder.

Oh, but I did mean to thank you for adding the link to the post below - that was nice. I mean that, no sarcasm this time.

Here's some information. What I am about to tell you is from my own experience so i know it works.
You need a broadband connection and a broadband modem. You need to connect the Wii to the modem either with a wire or wireless through a router. The Wii has wireless built in. You then need to go to Wii's online shop - I forget what they call it- and purchase (just a couple of quid) a special version of the Opera browser. Then you can browse the internet and read you emails etc.
Technical details about making connections etc are at the site I mentioned in my previous post which you already know about anyway.
Please ask if you have any more questions.
Can't help with the xbox.
BTW I did this myself so that i could use BBC iPlayer and watch programmes I'd missed.
