I am involved in a local social club owned by a charity that (unfortunatley) has an expensive lease arrangement for a tv projector. Earlier this year the manager had a heart attack and went off work suddenly and as a result the account from whch this lease is usually paid via dd was not in sufficient funds and the dd bounced. The leasing company then wrote to us with a notice of termination demanding their goods and the payment of the remaining lease period in full. A few days after the letter the bank account came into funds again and the leasing company collected their next months payment. Is the leasing company entilled to use dd to collect funds for this agreement when they have terminated it?
