Does anyone know of a website that helps you make decisions about very simple eco choices that we are faced with every day eg in public loos is it better to use a paper towel or the electric hand dryer? Or if you have a whole lot of bits and bobs that could be burned in a garden bonfire, is that better than sending them to the dump? Or is it better to hand wash dishes than use a dishwasher?

I don't know about a website, but please don't burn things on a bonfire.

Not only is it environmentally unfriendly, but it is downright anti-social.

There is someone in our area who always has a fire when the weather is reasonable, just when we all put our washing out. The smoke hangs over our estate affecting hundreds of people.
Hi Shivvy
If you want some annoying tips try www.biggreenswitch.co.uk but please do not start burning your rubbish in the garden. Regarding dishes I have never seen the need for a dishwasher but if I did I haven't room for one. It depends really on how bi a family you have to wash up for.
