Any idea how to get damp mould out of books? I've had a slight plumbing mishap (took me few weeks to realise it) which has dampened a lot of books (some library!) and caused them to go mouldy - any tips for ameliorating this???

I am sure someone will come up with a surefire way of dealing with this, but I have been thinking about it and if they were mine, I would firstly try talc, or rubbing the mould with stale bread and if they are still damp interleave them with toilet paper or kitchen roll and put a weight on them to absorb the moisture, failing that you could always ask amelior. love
Try googling for Book Restoration and perhaps u might find some hints???? Good luck in the mean time u could get a dehumidifier for the room stop it getting any worse....
