Only the channels that are available on Freeview, currently Sky3, unless you have Sky via satellite

many thanks,yes I have Sky tv through sattelite so will freeview plus also record Sky programmes without external leads??

You will have to set it to record manually via the AV channel and have Sky turned on and left on at the channel you want to record

Ok nearly there so if I want to record say Sky Movie one ,I manually select,then have that channel on but can I switch my TV off or do I have to leave this on

You can turn the tv off, leave Sky on
