Can someone tell me (in "idiot language", as I am a bit dense) how to download a U Tube clip into a powerpoint presentation please?

First you need to download and save the YouTube video. You'll need a bit of software for this if you haven't already got it.
Then in PP click Insert on the top menu and the Movies and Sounds from the drop-down. PP's Help is quite good to explain what to do.
