I take the above medication daily and have done for the past 6 months. It is a prescription drug for acne and i was just wondering what are the effects of smoking weed whilst being on this medication?

I used to be on it too when I was younger. Then I restarted again when I was 21 for a couple of days. You can't drink alcohol with it. And there was a scare that drinking grapefruit juice with it wasn't a good idea (ie, it could kill you). Not sure if that was ever proven though. As for weed, I don't know. I'd stopped taking Minocin in my experimental years. Essentially, all it is is a form of antibiotic (hence the no drinking) so it might be ok. On the other hand, it might not. Why take the chance?

Smoking weed is dumb anyway and kills brain cells. Don't do it!

I think the problem with grapefruit juice is that it inhibits the actions of certain drugs, including antibiotics. Taking illegal substances is a stupid thing to do anyway.
