the hot water [not the central heating] is firing up on its own accord,any ideas why? thanks

faulty thermostat/controller?
what model and type of baxi is it and what type of heating/water system do you have i.e. is it a combi or a regular tanksand cylinder system?

its a baxi bermuda,a back boiler tanks etc, its about 6 years old
im not brilliant on the old style systems yet but i would guess to fire up the solenoid on the gas valve is getting a live feed from somewhere so would suspect a problem with the clock/programmer.
could it be the pump.I have radiators on with heating off with only setting n hot water. the pump needed replacing
