Just been reading through the mammoth post about the VillageVicar posted by Chappie yesterday.

She asked a simple question like does anybody know why he doesnt post anymore - or something like that - and suddenly you lot think she's the VV.

And fair play to her for proving some of you wrong - that long list of questions she typed to prove she'd been an ABer since 2004, when some of you insinuated she hadn't been around as Chappie for long. If that is how you treat a newcomer, no wonder she doesn't come on here often!

And you thought you'd ressurect a post from yesterday because...........?
she is a CB newcomer homingpidgeon, she also implied that "theonlyone" was a newbie where as we all know theonlyone as a regular.

yes I agree boo, there is no point dragging this up, it was done with yesterday. lets move on

BOO - Do you know of any reason why I shouldn't? Is there a Chatterbank rule that I don't know about?

Sorry to sound cynical, but I just got the feeling you were somehow spoiling for some kind of argument ressurecting that particular post- calling us "a suspicious lot" further cemented this thought.
nutty- like incinerate, only hotter.
I think someone is spoiling for 100 posts

ND- we got bored of his long posts, so we ate him. Harsh but had to be done.

That ok?
he did go nicely with the roasties and veg

Well I'm sorry BOO but I have just read through it all and it didn't sound like it had been finished to me.

Once she had given her proof - everyone seemed to go quiet on the accusations front. Nobody made mention of the fact they had got it wrong.

Not a good example of the way Chatterbank works in my opinion. By the way, I am not referring to your answers.

insinuate comes from the Latin in (in) + sinus ( the bosom), so it literally meant "in the bosom."

I just thought you might like to know that.

V V disappeared up his Clapham Junction dint' he?
is homingpigeon also chappie lol lol lol
To be honest, if you think that's a bad example of how CB works you REALLY don't want to be around late at night then when the clones and drunken twonks are on- those posts will make your eyeballs bleed.

I'm not saying it was right for Chappie to be accused as she was, it wasn't- but it was pretty tame considering and she handled it very cleverly and with humour, I presumed the subject was closed? I can't imagine Chappie herself will be all that chuffed seeing her name once again dragged into the 'limelight'.

Mentioned it in jest? Now who's joking?

And you must certainly be joking if you think you can decide who posts on Chatterbank and who doesn't!
