I removed the oven door off my Whirlpool cooker to clean it. While doing so the hinges disengaged and snapped shut. Is there any way of re-setting them.
Thanks

If they are still the same design as when I used to deliver them, you should be able to re open them by prising them open with a small screwdriver.
My wife did the the same thing a few years back. sddsddean is correct in that they can be prised open again but the springs are very strong and I'm certain it needed something larger than just a small screwdriver to get enough leverage.

I would have checked it for you now but the oven is hot as it is in the middle of roasting just now.
gen2 is correct, they can be prised open again but you will need something more substantial than a small screwdriver they are very strong springs!! 2 people would help as trying to hold the hinge out while attaching the door on your own isn't easy.

Watch your fingers as if the hinge snaps shut and your hand is in the way it hurts!!

Thanks everyone. I stood the door on the floor and put my foot on the hinge and forced it back. once it was open I pushed the little catch back to stop it snapping shut. Job done.
Thanks again.
