my back boiler is making a chugging noise like a steam train does anyone have any ideas why?

Get rid of it and get a combi....

Its one the valves that is faulty.

thanks for all the answers ,had an engineer in, had system flushed out and its solved it . Problem over, so much for getting rid !!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I think your boiler is being operated by Southwest trains..... most of their trains sound like this!!!
